Felicitamos a los nuevos Expertos en Reciclaje Clase 77 (2da. Generacion en Español) y Promotores Ambientales. Como parte del programa de curso de diseño comunitario, 12 personas completaron el primer clase en linea y el segundo en Español. Se ofreció en asociación con Centro Cultural y el Condado de Washington.
Les damos la Bienvenida a todos los Graduados. Completaron su curso y estan listos para compartir lo aprendido y dar a la comunidad el valor del Reciclaje e impulsar la sostenibilidad. Gracias por su interes y querer aportar su esfuerzo para mejorar a nuestra comunidad y aporte su esfuerzo en bien del planeta. Nuestros Graduados: Josefina. We celebrated the new Master Recyclers of Class 77 (the second generation in Spanish). As part of the Community Design Master Recycler program, 12 individuals participated in the first ever on line Master Recycler class and second ever all-Spanish Language course. The course was offered in partnership with Centro Cultural and Washington County.
We give a warm welcome to the graduates. They completed the course and are ready to share the value of recycling and promote sustainability in their community. Thank you for your interest and your contributions to support the community and the planet. Our graduates: Josefina. Congratulations to Elaine Gabat (Class 71) who is now an officially Certified Master Recycler! Elaine shared tips on recycling and food waste prevention at multiple community events, including her neighborhood block party, the Jade District Night, and the Zoo's Frog Day. She also helped at the Milwaukie Repair Fair last year. But Elaine spent most of her hours as a board member of Trash for Peace, supporting their vision for empowered, healthy communities without waste. She is pictured here during the Harvest Zoom which she spent hours helping organize. Thank you, Elaine for your commitment to equity, the environment, and creative reuse!

Elaine compartió consejos sobre el reciclaje y la prevención del desperdicio de alimentos en varios eventos comunitarios, incluida la fiesta de su vecindario, la noche del distrito de Jade y el día de la rana del zoológico. También ayudó en la feria de reparación de Milwaukie el año pasado.
