Learn from the experts. Make a difference. ¡Bienvenidos a los voluntarios bilingües!
Take an eight-week course on the latest information on consumption, compost and recycling. Then, promise to volunteer 30 hours to share what you learned with neighbors, coworkers and community.
WHAT: 8-week course and 30-hour volunteer program.
WHEN: Eight consecutive Wednesdays at 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Starting Sept 5, 2018 and two Saturdays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm September 15 and October 6.
WHERE: Washington Street Conference Center 225 S First Avenue, Hillsboro
COST: $50. Washington County hosts partial and full scholarships -no extra application needed.

Deadline for applications is Thursday July 26 at noon. This is a popular course. To ensure a positive learning experience and support for volunteers, class size is limited to 30 people. Applications will be received up to the deadline and then 30 people will be selected on a weighted lottery. All applicants will hear back from us and we will let you know next steps.
The Master Recycler Program is committed to providing equal access. If you need special accommodation, interpretation, or translation, you will be given information about how to make a request once you have been accepted in the program.

This course is offered three times a year: Multnomah County winter, Clackamas County spring and Washington County fall. Notices for locations, dates and the application process will be announced before each course.
