Master Recycler Program

A community education and outreach program on sustainable consumption, toxics, composting and recycling.

The program offers three courses per year, rotating between each of the three counties in the metro area. Participants receive training on waste reduction and outreach techniques. In return, graduates commit to 30 hours of community education and outreach. The participant fee is 50 dollars per person.

Master Recyclers volunteer at local events and through individual projects. Master Recyclers also receive ongoing training and support that includes a monthly newsletter, this website, Facebook page, quarterly open houses, volunteer opportunities, a mentor program and assistance on individual projects.
