Warm Welcome to Class 81!
A new cohort of Master Recyclers participated in the second course in partnership with the North by Northeast Community Health Center. To kick off their Master Recycler hours, they will be joining Class 76 in dancing at the Good in the Hood parade! Can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeves!
CERTIFIED/CERDIFICADOS
Two people completed their 30-hour commitment and became officially Certified Master Recyclers this month. A sincere thank you to each of you for your work in bringing important resources and information to your communities!
Dos personas lograron su compromiso de 30 horas y se convirtieron oficialmente en Expertas en Reciclaje Certificados este mes. ¡Un sincero agradecimiento a cada uno de ustedes por su trabajo en traer importantes recursos e información a sus comunidades!
Adriane Driscoll (Class 78) focused her Master Recycler hours on schools and kids. She is on the Beaverton Eco School Network steering committee helping schools throughout the district reach sustainability goals and grow sustainability minded kids. She also brought her energies closer to home by starting a green team at her kids' school Cooper Mountain Elementary. The green team started its first year with tons of great learning opportunities and events. Adrian is pictured here with a Cooper Mtn kid at their E-waste Event as the "Recyclops".
Adriane Driscoll (Clase 78) enfocó sus horas de Master Recycler en las escuelas y los niños. Ella está en el comité directivo de Beaverton Eco School Network que ayuda a las escuelas de todo el distrito a alcanzar los objetivos de sostenibilidad y hacer crecer a los niños con mentalidad de sostenibilidad. The first of Class 80 is officially Certified! Karina Rosales has already contributed more than 45 hours. She designed a new logo for the Environmental Promoters program in Washington County. She also posted tips and resources on Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and included video of the Promoters in action. Thank you for all that you do, Karina!
