  • Box with pens, notepad, clicker to track conversations, paperweights

This kit includes literature and visual displays to help start conversations with the public about what goes where for mixed recycling, glass, garbage, batteries, household hazardous waste, and more.

Display/Games:

  • Option 1: Table top wheel with recycling questions (default option).

  • Option 2: Magnetic matching game titled “Know Your Stuff” with questions and answers.

  • Option 3: The Story of Stuff displays telling how everyday items are made and use natural resources.

  • Option 4: Cup a Day display showing how using a reusable mug reduces waste

This kit includes the basics of what can and cannot be recycled at home or work with a multiple-choice game. Simple, to the point, and collaborates with the local RecycleOrNot.org / ReciclarONo.org websites run by Metro. 

Fully available in Spanish. 

Can be paired with Washington County specific information.  

Displays/Games:  

  • Multiple choice game with board (in English and Spanish) and dice.

This kit includes tips and tools to discuss how to reduce wasted food though meal planning, proper storage, and more.

  • Option 1: Food storage game on magnetic board (default option)

  • Option 2: Table top wheel with food questions.
