Participation Requirements:
Participants must be at least 18 years old. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis (please email masterrecycler@oregonmetro.gov).
Participants must live within Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington County.
Class Date: 7 Wednesdays 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm on April 8, 15, 22, 29, and May 6, 13, 20, plus Two Saturdays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm on April 25 and May 9. Attendance is required for all dates.
Location: Clackamas County Developmental Services Building, 150 Beavercreek Rd., Oregon City MAP
Application Deadline: Wednesday, March 11 at 12:00 pm.
Cost: there is no cost to take this course. However, all participants are expected to volunteer 30 hours within their community sharing what they have learn. We take this commitment seriously. If you are not committed to this volunteer service, you may be better suited for taking the Recycling 101 course through OSU.
Note: The Master Recycler Program is a popular course. To ensure a positive learning experience and adequate support for volunteers, class size is limited to 30 people. Applications will all be received up to the deadline and then 30 people will be select on a weighted lottery. All applicants will receive notification of their status in the class and next steps.
