Hans Kumler, the Master Recycler Program Assistant, is managing the Master Recycler email during this time (MasterRecycler@OregonMetro.gov). He can help you with Better Impact, hours reporting, etc.

Morris Jones, pictured on the right (Class/Clase 76)
Morris Jones (Class 76) has reached 500 hours and is a Quincenturion! Morris is a longtime Master Recycler who has dedicated his time serving Northeast Portland with North by Northeast Community Health Center (NxNE). Along with fellow Master Recyclers Mr. David and Mrs. Elaine Milhouse, he led an effort to distribute boxes of fresh produce to patients and community members as a part of the organization’s CSA program, helping meet the needs of community members have around food access. Thank you, Morris!
Morris Jones (Clase 76) ha alcanzado las 500 horas de servicio, ¡convirtiéndose en un Quincenturion! Morris es un veterano del programa Expertos en Reciclaje que ha dedicado su tiempo a servir a la zona noreste de Portland junto al Centro de Salud Comunitario North by Northeast (NxNE). Junto a sus compañeros del programa, el Sr. David y la Sra. Codie Jenison (Class 89/Clase 89) pictured second from the left
Codie Jennison (Class 89) has reached 100 hours and is a Master Recycler Centurion! Codie got her start through the East Portland Chamber of Commerce doing recycling presentations. She then got involved in East County Repair Fairs and clothing swaps. In March, she got involved with the Rockwood Tool Library which operates out of a truck. Sounds like she will continue doing great things! Thank you, Codie!
Codie Jennison (Clase 89) ¡es oficialmente una Experta en Reciclaje! Codie empezó en la Cámara de Comercio del Este de Portland, donde hacía presentaciones sobre reciclaje. Lynn Mangum (Class 93) has reached 30 hours and is a Certified Master Recycler! Lynn has been a part of North by Northeast Community Health Center (NxNE) for many years now. She has put her skills to use at outreach events hosted by NxNE, sharing her expertise about how to recycle at home. Thank you, Lynn!

Kristen works professionally as Waste Reduction Specialist in both Portland and Vancouver, WA and volunteers their time at events focused on food waste prevention, healthy homes education and waste sorting projects. Julie has volunteered with Green Lents and the East Portland Tool Library, connecting community members with free tools to borrow, and has canvassed with Waste Free Advocates in support of the Choose to Reuse campaign. Jillane Onasch (Class 92) has reached 30 hours and is a Certified Master Recycler! Jillane has volunteered at events across Washington County and Beaverton, including the Cedar Mill Farmers Market, where she helped community members learn more about recycling, preventing food waste, and what to do with items that can’t go in the curbside bin. She also helped bring reuse into action by supporting the organization of this year’s Beaverton Community Clothing Swap. Thank you, Jillane!

Alilí Cardenas Verduzco (Class 99) has reached 30 hours and is a Certified Master Recycler! Alilí regularly volunteers her time at community events with Centro Cultural, where she provides community members with tips on how to recycle and reduce food waste at home, especially in multifamily housing. Dre’cion Gates (Class 98) has reached 30 hours and is a Certified Master Recycler! Dre’cion has been an active member at North by Northeast Community Health Center for many years, volunteering at their events such as Good in the Hood, Safe Homes Healthy Homes, and more. He is currently a junior at Grambling State University, where he is applying what he learned in the Master Recycler class and implementing recycling ideas at his college in Louisiana.
