2025 Master Recycler Workshop Year
Over the course of 2025, all people who have gone through the Master Recycler Class are invited back to participate in monthly refresher trainings, tours, several in-person spring kick-off events, and appreciation events celebrating you! Pick and choose which trainings and tours interest you. Join all class sessions to essentially retake the Master Recycler class.
The Website Password is “recycler” for those of you who have not logged in for a while.

Congratulations Master Recycler Class 93!
Please join me in welcoming our newest Master Recyclers from Class 93 in partnership with North by Northeast Community Health Center! We had lots of fun touring Metro Central Transfer Station, the HHW facility, compost facility, SCRAP PDX’s new location, the Northeast Portland Tool Library, and more. They had fantastic questions and are excited to start volunteering! Again, congratulations and welcome to the Master Recycler family <3

Grand Opening Celebration: Community Warehouse Gresham Furniture Bank
Join us for the grand opening of our new Gresham Furniture Bank! We’ve relocated our Eastside donation site to a larger space so we can offer client appointments–bringing even more comfort and stability to local families. Now with three full-service locations, Community Warehouse is proud to be the largest furniture bank in the country! We’re thrilled about the opportunities this new space brings and can’t wait to connect with our new neighbors.

Lauren Manlove (Class 85) is officially a certified Master Recycler with over 30 hours! Lauren has completed many of her hours at Repair Fairs as well as tabling events throughout Clackamas County. Most recently she was at the Clackamas County Spring Garden Fair. Thank you, Lauren, for all your amazing work promoting reuse and repair within the community!

Ingrid Ortega (Class 83) has volunteered 30 hours and is now certified! Ingrid completed her Master Recycler hours by volunteering at the Canby Bridging Cultures event in 2023 and 2024. She has also participated in the Milwaukie Sustainability Festival, the Wallace Park Fall Festival, the Clackamas County Spring Garden Fair, and a Repair Fair. Thank you, Ingrid! You’ve done great work.

Natalie Concillo (Class 89) is a certified Master Recycler! Natalie has quite the diverse list of volunteer events. She has done PlanetCon, Bob's Red Mill Earth Day event, peer-to-peer recycling education, the St. Johns Farmers Market, and helped with a Metro Food Waste Survey of community based organizations. Most recently, she’s discovered the joys of Repair Fairs. Thank you, Natalie!
