(English below) Felicitaciones a Lorenza Ortiz (Clase 73), quien ahora es Excperta Recicladora Certificada oficialmente.

Lorenza Ortiz (Class 73) took the class in Spanish at Centro Cultural where she works this last spring. She focused the majority of her hours on compost. She worked on a demonstration site at Adelante Mujeres and she started a commercial compost program at Centro Cultural. Now all of their events will compost food scraps!

Lindsay Kemp (Class 74) is an AmeriCorps volunteer at Washington County Solid Waste & Recycling and so she has spent much of her volunteer hours promoting their Eat Smart, Waste Less challenge and the 3R's at events all over the county. She is pictured on the right with her room mates who are in all thrifted/borrowed Halloween costumes as different versions of Elton John.

Vici Wolff (Class 74) jumped right into action after the fall class at the SW Community Recycling event and the Garden Home Sustainability Fair. She also shared her knowledge and enthusiasm in her own community gatherings: She presented at the Franciscan Spiritual Center, organized durables for the Camino Pilgrim gathering she does every year and even did a presentation at Thanksgiving dinner.
