We’re Hiring! Apply by October 24th

(October 5, 2016) – Drive Oregon is excited to announce we are seeking three new team members, to help strengthen and build our efforts to accelerate transportation electrification in Oregon and beyond. We are now hiring for two Program Managers and a Policy Director.

Program Managers

The two new Program Manager positions will implement elements of a federally funded electric vehicle promotion campaign in Oregon and Washington (see http://driveoregon.org/showcase-award/). They will staff a physical showroom in downtown Portland designed to educate consumers about electric vehicle and charging options; manage projects and marketing campaigns designed to reach specific key markets in a focused way; and help build and strengthen Drive Oregon. Exact responsibilities will be divided between the two successful candidates based on their experience and backgrounds. Click here to read the full Program Manager position description & to apply!

This includes building stakeholder coalitions, designing and managing campaigns, working with contract lobbyists, and directly lobbying decision makers. Current policy priorities include securing an electric vehicle purchase rebate in the Oregon Legislature; strengthening electric vehicles’ role in Oregon’s Clean Fuels Program; and supporting a strong electric utility role in transportation electrification. The successful candidate will be expected to help identify future policy opportunities at the state and local level in Oregon and beyond. Click here to read the full Policy Director position description & to apply!
