¡Bienvenidos a los voluntarios bilingües!

Take an eight-week course on the latest information on consumption, compost and recycling. Then, promise to volunteer 30 hours to share what you learned with neighbors, coworkers and community.

  • WHAT: 8-week course and 30-hour volunteer program.
  • WHEN: Eight consecutive Thursdays at 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Starting January 10, 2019 and two Saturdays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm January 12 and February 9.
  • WHERE: Parklane Church 16001 SE Main, Portland 
  • COST: $50. partial and full scholarships available with no extra application.

Deadline to apply is Wednesday December 12 at noon. This is a popular course. To ensure a positive learning experience and adequate support for volunteers, class is limited to 30 people. Applications will be received up to the deadline and then 30 people will be selected on a weighted lottery. All applicants will hear back from us and we will let you know next steps.
