Check out materials from the City of Beaverton and set up a booth for kids on recycling. The Beaverton Farmers Market provides a program for youth called, Market Sprouts. They provide educational activities from ages 3-12 in order to educate them on healthy living, farming practices, nutrition and ways in which to better our earth and environment. They invite Master Recyclers to come out and do a kid's version of what it means to recycle (and provide info for the adults, as well) and how to start implementing it in their own homes and neighborhoods.
