The annual summer cultural event celebrates and recognizes the diversity and culture of the communities who live and work in the Jade District in SE Portland. It takes place in the nights of August 19 and August 26.

Event recycling during the event is not always the best approach. After much assessment of goals and organizational capacity, the group has decided to take a different approach to ensure recycling happens, they are throwing two recycling parties after each of the two Jade Night Markets to sort materials.

Master Recyclers are invited to train and manage volunteers in sorting recyclable materials from non recyclables.  Help this energetic volunteer bunch of about 10-15 volunteers meet their recycling goals.
