Concordia Neighborhood Clean Up  (Community Warehouse Truck)

Date: Saturday, May 14th

Location: PCC Workforce Training Center (NE 42nd & Killingsworth St)

Volunteer Shifts: 8am to 10am; 10am to 12:30pm

These events are held in various neighborhoods throughout Portland and offer residents of neighborhoods a one-stop place to pass along their extra reusable goods and recycle or dispose of items such as yard debris, metals, Styrofoam, etc. These events are super fun and a great way to engage in reuse and recycling efforts on a number of levels. Community Warehouse has its large donation truck on site, and invites volunteers to help screen donations, educate clean-up goers about reusable/recyclable items, and fill our truck with goods that will be redistributed to local families in need! Volunteers should wear clothing that can get dirty and should bring gloves for lifting/loading. Volunteers should feel comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
