Multiple opportunities at the upcoming East County Learn, Share, Do Fair!

The day will include fun hands-on activities for the whole family, free food and and much more to build connections for a more climate resilient community.

Event Shifts:

  • 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

  • 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.

MRs are welcome to select one shift or more. We’re looking for about 1-2 folks at the table at any given time.)

Tabling Topics available:

  • DIY Green Cleaners – Guide attendees through making their own DIY all-purpose cleaning spray.

  • Food Waste Prevention – Share food waste prevention strategies from the Eat Smart, Waste Less program and engage attendees in the "Where to Store your Food” magnetic game suitable for all ages.

  • Recycle or Not Table – Recycling right is the foundation of a healthy recycling system. Help attendees understand which materials belong in the home/work recycling bins and which belong in the garbage or hazardous waste. Guide attendees through playing the Recycle or Not Plinko quiz game which attracts kids and adults alike.

  • Creative Reuse Activities – Engage children and adults in making pre-arranged creative reuse craft projects and encourage the use of exploration with our upcycled arts and craft material stations.
