The Westside Planet Alliance and Washington County Solid Waste & Recycling are hosting a FREE community recycling event during the Hillsboro Saturday Market on Saturday, October 7th.  They are looking for Master Recyclers to table on a few topics from recycling to food waste. Volunteers are also needed to help with traffic control and to sort rigid plastics and polystyrene (styrofoam).  Please see the website for complete event information.

The event itself runs from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, though volunteering shifts start earlier and run later.
