Help Portland reach our goal to serve multifamily communities more equitably.

Research has shown that multifamily communities – apartments and condos that are 5 or more units – do not receive the same level of service as people living in houses in our region. The metro region is undertaking long overdue regional service standards to address these inequities.

Portland is aiming to reach out to communities in East Portland who have greater service barriers so that they can better understand how to use their recycling programs.

 There are several ways you can help:

• Pick up door hangers and addresses for communities and go independently.

• We can connect you with another Master Recycler who has requested a buddy and the two of you can pick up door hangers and go out together.

• You could help lead a small team to do a door hanging effort in a larger community.
