Sara Harding Mihm First of Class 59 to Certify!!

Sara Harding Mihm First of Class 59 to Certify!!

Very exciting news! The first person from the Clackamas County spring class just became a Certified Master Recycler. Congratulations and thank you to Sara Harding Mihm (Third from the left, next to her mom in the front row).

Sara has done some cool things with her 30 volunteer hours. From the Tigard Farmer's Market to the Beaverton Bark for LIfe, Sara has talked with folks about toxics reduction, food waste prevention and recycling. She has also been helping Clackamas County develop new web and social media tools to promote business composting and then went to the West Linn streets with fellow Master Recycler Lisa Clifton to promote business composting.

Something tells me Sara is only just getting started.

Milwaukie Famer's Market Fun!

Milwaukie Famer's Market Fun!

Looks like Ryan Popma (Class 59), Colleen Johnston (Class 36) and Rob Kappa (Class 37) had way too much fun promoting recycling at this Sunday's Milwaukie Farmer's Market.
