Living Future Global Network Coordinator

Reports to:Global Network Manager

Hours:Full-time, 40 hours per week

Starting Salary: Salary commensurate with experience

Location: Portland, Oregon


The International Living Future Institute (ILFI) seeks to inspire and support a global network of volunteers and policy-makers to achieve a living future that is culturally rich, socially just and ecologically restorative. The Global Network Coordinator's role is to support this effective engagement across the Global Network team.

The Global Network Coordinator provides support that will:

  1. Broaden the audience for ILFI's mission, initiatives and programs by enhancing our community standing and visibility;

  2. Facilitate deepening engagement among key stakeholders and volunteers;

This job is full-time, exempt and typically 40 hours per week, but also requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule, with regional travel on occasion.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and is supplemented by ILFI's generous benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, 403(b) retirement matching (US) or Group Retirement Payroll Savings Plan with matching contributions (Canada), three weeks of paid annual leave and 12 days paid annual sick leave.

  • Manage all aspects of the volunteer application process

  • Provide monthly application numbers for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) data to Global Network Manager

  • Maintain and report Collaborative budgets to Collaboratives, working closely with the Controller

  • Provide Collaborative Eventbrite support and management

  • Track volunteer story reporting and collaborating with the Communications Manager on Trim Tab Blog features for the Network

  • Create volunteer recognition opportunities and lead volunteer recognition month (April)

  • Schedule monthly check in calls for Collaborative leaders

  • Coordinate and maintain the volunteer resource pages with regular updates

  • Maintain all social media accounts for the Network; Facebook, Linkedin


  • Introduce the Network to interested parties by phone or email

  • Maintain the Salesforce database records for the Network and formulate reports as needed

  • Create Typeforms and Google forms for Network Department


  • Provide training and webinar support

  • Track Ambassador presentation reporting of CEUs, working closely with the Events Coordinator

  • Support Events Coordinator with Cascadia Collaborative CEU tracking

  • Support Education Coordinator with Network Collaborative LFA tracking


  • Support Global Network Manager in managing and leading the Collaborative Summit at the Living Future unConference

  • Coordinate the Living Future Network Happy Hour as a volunteer recognition event at the Living Future unConference

  • Provide conference support in a variety of roles and duties during any ILFI conference; Net Positive, Living Future, Living Product Expo


  • Recruit new sponsors (goal: $10k/year)
