Drive Oregon Program Assistant (Close February 1, 2016)

 Drive Oregon is seeking a full-time Program Assistant to provide core support to our growing membership program, successful networking events, and evolving marketing and communications strategy – while also managing overall administrative duties to support our small staff. We’re looking for an organized, outgoing person with strong communication skills. Because we’re a small, dynamic organization, the successful candidate will need to wear many hats, work independently, and pitch in as needed.

Description of Duties

Membership. Drive Oregon currently has approximately 100 corporate and individual members, and expects to grow this membership substantially in coming years. The Program Assistant will provide core support to Drive Oregon’s membership program, The Program Assistant will also be the primary manager of Drive Oregon’s SalesForce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Events. Drive Oregon organizes monthly networking events, occasional workshops, and the annual EV Roadmap Conference, as well as participating in various trade shows and conferences around the world. The Program Assistant will manage logistics for our monthly events and workshops, and provide support to the EV Roadmap Conference and out-of-state conferences.

Marketing and Communications. Drive Oregon works to promote Oregon as the epicenter for electric mobility, to encourage accelerated sales of electric vehicles, and to market Drive Oregon as an opinion leader. The Program Assistant works closely with Drive Oregon staff and marketing consultants to implement the organization’s communication strategy on a day-to-day basis.

Organizational Administration. Drive Oregon operates with a small staff and network of contractors, interns, and volunteers. The Program Assistant must be flexible and prepared to assist in all aspects of organizational management.

COMPENSATION Starting salary range is $25,000 - $30,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits currently include 160 hours of paid vacation and 40 hours of paid sick time annually, as well as a $400 monthly allowance toward the cost of medical insurance for yourself and your family and a 3% employer-paid retirement contribution.
